Meet our team

  • CEO and co-founder

    Prior to starting SnoFox, Ben worked for a New York City-based consulting firm focusing on strategy and technology projects for State and Local Governments. He is an alumni of New York University where he majored in Political Science and English Literature and Minored in American Sign Language. Ben is an amateur chef and a very slow distance runner and triathlete.

  • Fractional Financial Controller

    For the past 23 years, Denise Winner has been the CEO of Winner Squared, Inc., a financial engineering and consulting firm focused on developing solutions for high frequency trading, portfolio optimization, asset modeling for financial institutions and startups. Over the past decade Denise has enjoyed the challenge of expanding her services to include analytics for wargaming, statistics for medical research, and operational support in strategy, finance, and accounting. In Denise’s free time, she sneaks for hot yoga, pickle ball, and a run with her dog and loves to travel. She is also passionate about her nonprofit works at Lupus LA, Rainbow Services, Penn Serves LA and Conquer Our Run, a nonprofit Denise launched to heighten awareness and raise funds for lupus and breast cancer.

  • Head of Product Engineering

    Over 15 years of experience in product and technology leadership at some of the world’s most innovative organizations. Before joining SnoFox to lead Product Engineering, Henry was consulting for Climate Tech companies like BlocPower. Previously, Henry was CEO of Segovia Technology, a NYC-based fintech that exited in 2019, Director of Product on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, helped lead the Facebook Messenger team, and worked on Google Chrome. Henry holds a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University with honors in International Security Studies.

  • Principle Machine Learning Engineer

    Jonathan is a mechanical engineer from MIT who took up machine learning. Previously he spearheaded embedded AI for power tools and he loves purpose-driven, physics-based problem solving. In his free time, he mountain unicycles, keeps bees, and plays ultimate.

  • Luke likes to solve complex technical problems to make the world a better place. At SnoFox, that means building thermal models and analysis engines. Previously, Luke spent a decade designing hardware for solar power generation and grid energy storage. He studied Chemical Physics at Hendrix College.

  • Scott is the first dedicated GTM hire at SnoFox Sciences. Prior to SnoFox, Scott worked at several venture-backed technology startups in various business roles, and studied International Business and Supply Chain Operations at the University of South Carolina. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing rugby, skiing in the winters, and learning Spanish on Duolingo.

  • Co-founder and CTO

    With over 40 years of entrepreneurship and leading business in the cross functional worlds of Power Plants, Data Science, Software Development, Mobile Applications and Thermodynamics, Leo brings a wealth of diverse experiences and knowledge to solving customer challenges. He holds a PhD from Stanford in mechanical engineering and a minor in electrical engineering as well as his certified Yoga instructor license.

  • Co-founder and COO

    Matt is the COO and co-founder of SnoFox Sciences. Prior to starting SnoFox, Matt has been responsible for Go-To-Market strategy and execution at venture backed, early stage startups in the enterprise SaaS market. In Matt’s free time he enjoys exploring the new england coast and wilderness as well as considers himself an expert Wayfair furniture assembler.

  • Advisor

    Dr. Rubin is a professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania with secondary appointments as Professor of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Dr. Rubin is the founder of Energize the Chain a non-profit organization that ensures the delivery of vaccines to people in the most remote regions of the world by utilizing power and connectivity in the private sector, such as that available at cell tower sites to power the refrigeration systems that are necessary to keep vaccines at the proper temperature.

  • Senior Software Engineer

    Claire is returning to her electrical engineering undergrad roots by joining the team, albeit as a software engineer. She brings with her several years of experience building products at startups across different growth stages. Her hobbies include drinking coffee, petting dogs, and trying her best to keep plants alive in spite of frequent travel.

  • Energy System Engineer

    Erich received his MS in Mechanical Engineering from UMass Amherst where he focused on energy systems and thermodynamics. He has experience conducting energy efficiency audits for industrial customers, and previously worked as a utility regulatory consultant where he helped evaluate energy efficiency and demand response programs. When not working on energy problems, Erich enjoys rooting on his hometown Boston Celtics and relaxing with his rescue dog

  • Dan has developed software for over 15 years. The majority of that time was spent writing Android apps (FlightTrack, Expedia, Trello) with a sprinkling of SaaS software (Oracle, Rheaply). He regularly writes & gives talks about tech as well. Outside of work, he swims, games, and regularly starts weird niche projects.

  • A self-starter capable of owning project objectives and deliverables. You’re collaborative and comfortable in small and large team settings. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and excitement around “building the plane while flying” start up mode.
